One of my mentors from WSU also helped shape my life and made me who I am today. Mentors play such a crucial role in our lives, guiding us through the highs and lows, and offering wisdom that stays with us forever. Their influence extends far beyond the moments we share with them—they help us build our dreams and give us the courage to pursue them. Reflecting on the impact of my mentor, I realize how lucky I am to have had such support and guidance. It’s a reminder of the importance of giving back and being there for others, just as they were for us.

Tyler Cowen, whose becoming a mentor, writes how folks like Bill Gates are especially good at creating value for others. That said, Charles Mingus created uneconomic wealth that I can’t discount the importance of. Others are Dr. Paul Farmer, Sidney Bechet, Victoria Woodhull, and Elizabeth II – how do we calculate the wealth they’ve created? But I still think we must hold CEOs to the expectation that they will create cash wealth for others, and so I applaud your approach to A8C infrastructure.

Three quotes Jim said I appreciate:
– “Tell people what you’re doing.”
– “Collaborate with the best people you can”
– “Don’t give up.”
