It’s a massive time saver. I used to have a monthly recurring to do item to handle my expense reporting, and I literally last week removed that. Even though we switched about a year ago, I still had it and realised I hadn’t done this type of sitting down and manually creating a report since then.

I love seeing little hidden efficiencies like this, way to go! I bet that makes a huge difference in time saved across the org.

Let’s say I want to go all in on Automattic products and services. And why not? They’re excellent and meet diverse needs

But they’re quite disjointed

Separately, I use WordPress/Tumblr/Simplenote/Jetpack/Longreads/PocketCasts without even trying to like Automattic (I only realized today that Automattic owns PocketCasts). They’re just great products.

And they’re tantalisingly close to becoming a really great ecosystem.

I want a dashboard that gives me everything in one place (a bit like the Automatic for Agencies dashboard but for end users).

I want to use Automattic for everything, and I’m sure users of one great product would love to use many of the others, if only they knew about them and could easily integrate them (or at least see them).

So am I just dreaming?

I’d guess not one in a hundred companies puts this level of thought into offer letters. One detail: the “sign at the top” research has been retracted. It seems the honesty researchers were, well, dishonest. Search “francesca gino fraud” for more info.

And designing the offer letter for the end user is such a good approach.

Thanks for sharing these ideas. It would have been cool if they made it into the Inc article!
