Very inspiring. It reminds me of my Acupuncture Clinic teacher, Kaylah Sterling. She is 57 years old and looks like a 20-something. I interviewed her yesterday to find out how she stayed so healthy and happy. One of the first things she said was “I love my jobs. Love, love love my jobs!” She works as an acupuncturist at the Jewish Home for the Aged and as an instructor at ACTCM, the acupuncture school that I go to.

The drive to make our mark is such a huge part of human nature. Strange that I should find this blog post today – I just wrote an article on Suite101.com last night about this topic. http://changing-personal-habits.suite101.com/article.cfm/moving_into_quadrant_two_living

It’s certainly far easier to enjoy and do well at ‘things things that matter’. It’s such a pity that so many corporations do not consider that to get the most out of employees, the employees must feel that what they do is contributing and ‘matters’.

If you want to be happy for a year, win the lottery.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime, love what you do.

No matter how strong can be, he won’t be able to have an army fighting with him if he’s not creating value for them!
